Yesterday (Sunday) we had the chance to visit with some friends of ours (the Bergums) from Duluth. They came to church and then we spent the afternoon together catching up. We hadn't seen them in 4 years, so it was fun to see them again!
Josie has especially missed Mrs. Bergum, so she was really looking forward to yesterday.
My Auntie Hazel passed away on Saturday. Or maybe I should just say that she died. That's exactly what she would have said! She always liked to "say it as it is". I will really miss her, especially when I go back to Alberta to visit and she isn't there. She always paid special attention to me, and I have so many great memories of her.
