My April Fool's Joke

The joke was on me today! My son Daniel dumped out an ENTIRE bottle of laundry detergent on the floor in his room. I need to tell you, laundry detergent is absolutely horrible to clean out of carpet! It just keeps getting sudsy. I rinsed and rinsed and rinsed for 2 hours. (I'm not kidding!) I wasn't even able to make supper because it took so long to clean up. But the day wasn't all bad...actually it was great! My sweet husband took care of supper after he got home from work and even went to the store to get me another bottle of detergent. I got a phone call from a friend in East Chain--that was great. I got to help a friend with her Swedish ancestry. I spent the afternoon teaching her to use Genline to research her family. And someone very dear to me had something amazing happen in her life. I am thrilled beyond words for her! So no matter what else happened today, it was an AWESOME day! Isn't it interesting that when something great happens--and I mean something wonderful that you've been passionately praying and waiting for--almost nothing can spoil your day.
