I haven't posted for awhile, but I am still here!
I was pretty excited about a new discovery I made yesterday....Library and Archives Canada has put images of ship manifests online! So I was able to see an image of the original ship manifest for when some of our Norwegian ancestors immigrated to Quebec (before coming to the US). I will be putting them on my website today. I was so happy I even made my 4 year old son get up and do the genealogy happy dance with me.
Another exciting bit of news for our family...we are getting another exchange student next year, and she's from Norway! I think it will be great to learn more about Norway and I'd even like to learn some Norwegian.
Give me some time to post the ship manifests, and then check out my site...
