Another little treasure!
I was working on the Grimstad line~if you go to the "Olson" link on my front page and follow Arnold Olson's mother back you will see that they are from the Tingvoll parish in Møre og Romsdal county in Norway. I found a website about the church in Tingvoll. This is the church where Oline Grimstad's ancestors were christened, confirmed, married, and buried. The church has a fascinating history and dates back to around 1150! You can see for yourself at http://www.tingvoll.org/tingvollkirka/index.html. I wish I could find more photos of the places I'm researching. **hmmm, I guess I'll have to go there myself!**
